The unbelievable audacity and arrogance of this embarassing, crass, pathetic excuse for a leader! As he continues to send thousands to die in Iraq for his war profiteer and oil industry buddies, Bush says he's looking forward to going out on the speaking circuit after leaving office to reap a financial windfall!
The New York Times on Sunday published excerpts from interviews with Bush for a book by Robert Draper to be published on Tuesday. No humility, no thoughtfulness, no sobering perspective on things, he just wants to get obscenely rich. Here are a few excerpts of what Bush said,
"I’ll give some speeches, just to replenish the ol’ coffers.”
and then he added,
“I don’t know what my dad gets, it’s more than fifty to seventy-five thousand dollars a speech, and Clinton’s making a lot of money".
I guess Bush's 21 million dollars in the bank isn't enough for him. Perhaps Bush and Miss Teen South Carolina can go out on the road together. They can call it "The Articulation Tour 2009".
